Another Florida Swing has come and gone, and as has been so many times in the past, those four weeks featured some of the most exciting golf of the 2015 season. When you break it down, the Florida Swing took place over four weeks, in four different Florida cities and featured two playoffs, an unscheduled Monday finish, two tournaments being won on the 72nd hole, a club toss, a Bear Trap, Snake Pit, and Blue Monster, oh yea and the likes of Arnold Palmer and "The Donald" himself. Here is a look back at the 2015 version of "The Florida Swing"

The Honda Classic- Kicking off the Florida Swing for yet another year, this tournament, held at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, has become one of the top draws on the PGA Tour year with it becoming an…

Tiger Woods might not be playing golf right now on the PGA Tour, but he is sure keeping himself busy with golf off the course.

According to a report on golf.com, Woods has been selected to redesign a golf course in Beijing, China. The course will become a flagship in a group of a dozen or so private clubs that will provide members access to all the courses in that group.

This will be Tiger's first foray into the Asian market, and the report goes on to say that the deal is a lucrative one, paying him almost $17 million for the two-course deal.

Woods will redesign the Beijing Tain'an Holiday Golf Club, a 27-hole facility just outside the capital. When it re-opens, it will be called Pacific Links National Golf Club. Pacific Links International, a…

In March of 1965, the PGA of America was at a crossroads. It was looking for a new place to house its offices but wasn't sure where to go.

John D. MacArthur, wanting to be under the PGA branch invited them to come look at his club. He offered to let them work out of his clubhouse at PGA National Golf Club (now the present day BallenIsles). The PGA of America complied and thus began the now 50 year history of the partnership between the PGA of America and the Palm Beach Gardens area.

The area back then, however, looked nothing like it does today. I-95 ended at PGA Boulevard, known back then as Monet road. Northlake Boulevard was a gravel road west of US 1. Today's PGA National did not exist, and other than MacArthur’s PGA National Golf Club…

The State of Florida Senate Finance and Tax Committee is in support of reducing commercial real estate lease tax.  The bill (SB 140) recommends reducing the current 6% tax on commercial real estate leases to 5%.  This reduction makes Florida even more attractive, in addition to the perfect weather and beautiful beaches, for homeowners and business owners.

Under the bill, the cut would take effect January 1, 2016.  Reduction in the state tax commercial real estate lease percentage will allow Florida to compete for businesses to move to the state.

Governor Scott said, “This part of our Tax Cut Agenda is a $100 million reduction in the sales tax on commercial rent, which costs businesses about $1.4 billion per year. This reduction will make it more…

Brooks Koepka does not have a history of withdrawing from golf tournaments. In fact, heading into this weekend, he had yet to withdraw from an event during play on either the European or PGA Tours.

That streak came to an end on Sunday, when Koepka had to withdraw from the Arnold Palmer Invitational after 11 holes with a rib injury. It wasn't just any rib injury either. Koepka's rib had actually become dislocated earlier in the week and played through until he just coudln't go anymore.

"They put it back in place twice yesterday and it didn't pop out again today, it's just very painful and very tough to breathe. It's not fun," the Palm Beach Gardens resident said.

Koepka said the initial dislocation occured before his round started on Saturday. He…
