With the school year coming to an end, Palm Beach County is filled with fun, family friendly activities to do to stay busy this summer. Lion Country Safari is one of Palm Beach County’s Top Attractions and is one of the only drive-through and walk-through safari’s and amusement parks.

The Juno Beach Fishing pier is a popular destination in northern Palm Beach County for locals and visitors. 

The fishing pier is a 990-foot-long T-shaped pier that offers great saltwater fishing. The Pier is home to a full-service Pier House that features a friendly Guest Service Team, bags of ice, snacks, drinks, various fishing gear, tackle, fishing poles available for rentals, and much more.

The Fishing Pier is managed by the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. Every Saturday morning, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center partners with local organizations to help keep our beautiful beaches clean.

The Self-Guided Beach Clean Up requires no reservations or pre-requirements. Simply just show up with gloves and a bucket and begin. The Beach Clean Up happens on the beach near the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The Self-Guided Clean Up was added to their calendar every Saturday morning in 2020 due to its popularity. The weekly event asks for volunteers to help in doing our part to keep our beaches clean and to help protect our oceans and Marinelife.

Jupiter is home to one of the very few remaining dog friendly beaches in the State of Florida and the only dog friendly beach in Palm Beach County. In 1989, the Town of Jupiter adapted a policy to allow dogs to roam freely in a 2.5 mile stretch of the beach. 

The dog friendly beach stretched from beach marker #59 at Carlin Park south to beach marker #25 at Marcinski Road. In this designated area, dogs are allowed to roam freely but must be always supervised.

Dogs are allowed on the beach from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week. The Town of Jupiter has adopted a set of rules that they would like all pet owners to follow. The Friends of Jupiter provides free waste bags at every cross over along the designated dog friendly stretch.

The 2023 Sea Turtle Nesting Season has officially begun, and you might have noticed some beach markers in the sand recently. Those nests are blocked off to the public to help protect the sea turtle nests. Sea Turtle Nesting Season begins March 1st and goes through October 31st, and the beaches of Jupiter and Juno Beach are a popular sea turtle nesting spot. 

Researchers at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center have been on the look out for sea turtle nests along the beaches in Northern Palm Beach County. Sea turtles nest along the 9.5 mile sandy shoreline from the Northern Palm Beach County Line to the northern boundary of the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park every day. The popular Loggerhead Marinelife Center located on US 1 in Juno Beach hosts a daily Public Guided Tour for a chance for the public to get a sneak peek inside the facility.  

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. The centers mission is to protect the oceans ecosystem and all that live in it. The Marinelife Center provides care to injured and endangered sea turtles before releasing them back into the ocean. 

The Public Guided Tours happen daily at 3pm. During the tour, visitors will get a look inside the facility and learn about the treatment and care provided to injured or endangered sea turtles. The tours cost $20 dollars per person and last about an hour. Registration is required and…

Polo Season has officially begun in South Florida. Every year, The National Polo Center in Wellington hosts its annual Polo Season that begins in January and goes through April. The hundreds of events attract thousands of spectators, world’s premier polo players, Olympian equestrians, and polo enthusiast each year to the area.
