The Maltz Jupiter Theatre will undergo a $30 million expansion ahead of schedule, making th best of some time off during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The goal of the expansion will be to create a creating a Broadway-scale stage so the Maltz can produce the next Broadway hit or national tour and that's really exciting because most regional theaters across the country do that for Broadway. The demolition of the building will begin sometime this month. Palm City resident Jim Herman rode a hot putter to an unbelievable 124 (61-63) on the weekend to capture his third PGA TOUR victory at the Wyndam Championship in Greensboro, N.C. Herman, who said he planned on renting a car and driving down I-95 on Sunday night after the tournament, now heads to TPC Boston for the first leg of the PGA TOUR’s FedEx Cup Playoffs. 

Herman jumped from 192nd to 54th with the victory and is now in great shape to advance even further. With the win, Herman now has as many wins over the past 13 months as fellow South Florida resident Rory McIlroy.

Collin Morikawa won the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco on Sunday after an amazing display of ball striking and dropping big putt time and time again. However his shining moment came on the 16th tee on Sunday afternoon as he drove the driveable par 4, which many of the players in the field did over the week, but none better than Morrikawa, who bent a perfect cut around an over-hanging tree to around 10 feet for the go-ahead eagle putt.

The 5th Annual Wounded Veterans Relief Fund 5k Run/Walk honors those who are serving and those who have served the United States. This 5k raises funds to help Florida veterans who find themselves on the verge of homelessness. The Wounded Veterans Relief Fund provides veterans with housing and transportation assistance, activities, and resources to help them find their new "normal". Their mission is to save lives and keep families together.

Just days short of her 16th birthday, a Jupiter area caring young lady named Zoe Loren passed away. Her family and friends knew they lost someone very special.  The bright and generous teen had touched so many lives. To keep her memory and spirit alive the Zoe Loren ‘Make a Difference’ Foundation was established.  

The Zoe Loren Make a Difference Foundation keeps her essence alive through the good works of the foundation. Proceeds from years of 5K fun runs in Jupiter have been able to award scholarships and contribute funds to causes Zoe was zealous about.
