The Town of Jupiter is home to one of the few remaining dog friendly beaches in the State of Florida.  Jupiter is located north of Palm Beach and just south of Stuart, Florida.  Having “man’s best friend” allowed on the 2 and ½ mile stretch of beach is a privilege.  Well behaved dogs and their conscientious owners are always welcome on the beach.

Certain rules apply when you bring Fido to the beach.

  • While off-leash, let dogs run in uncrowded areas, giving no one reason to complain.
  • Don’t let dogs invade the space of or bathroom near other people or dogs uninvited.
  • Clean up after dogs with FJB dog bags, provided at every beach crossover, or bring your own bags.

The beloved Abacoa Food Truck Invasion is coming to town this weekend and it is sure to be a hit, just like every other time it rolls to town. The food trucks bring an eclectic mix of delicious street foods, hand crafted cocktails and family fun to one easy location. 

Artisan chefs prepare different dishes from all over the world in their tiny kitchens, within their food trucks. You can find things like authentic tacos from Mexico, Korean specialties; Thai noodles, amazing Italian meatballs and mouthwatering burgers and hand cut fries. Locals and tourists alike have flocked to the food trucks in droves for the tasty delicacies the trucks offer. Now that the housing market has steadied after more than a decade of difficulties, this could be the perfect opportunity to invest in a home. It is said that South Florida is an earmarked real estate market and it’s driving the prices of real estate up. 

The Case-Shiller 20 City Index noted that home values rose 5.7%.  Leading economists think prices will continue to rise, at least in the interim. The Town of Jupiter planning and zoning commission is reviewing a 72,000-square-foot CineBowl & Grille project. A grass field located across from the Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa, has been vacant since the 16-screen Crown Theater was demolished in 2006. If approved by the town council, it will become a $21 million entertainment complex with bowling, food, movies and music and will bring entertainment to Abacoa located in Jupiter. No dates are set for public hearings. CineBowl & Grille is a family-friendly place. The design for CineBowl & Grille calls for 20-bowling lanes and restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating.
