The popular Boynton Beach axe-throwing bar ‘Game of Axes’ will open its second location in Jupiter’s Publix- shopping plaza on 10160 W. Indiantown Road.

The ‘Game of Axes’ will be a fun new addition to Jupiter as it will provide great alternative to typical sports bars or more active spots like the bowling alley or Cinepolis luxury movie theater.

While the coronavirus has led to many layoffs around the country, some businesses in the Palm Beaches are still doing quite well.  G4S, for example, announced it is hiring 15,000 positions nationwide including 400 in South Florida.

The Palm Beach County Community Services Department is now offering a rental and utilities assistance program for residents who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The relief program will provide one-time rental and utility assistance to residents who have experienced loss of income, decrease in hours or unemployment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants can only receive assistance once, but can apply for multiple relief services.

Benefits up to $7,000 are available for applicants who live in apartments, houses, townhouses or mobile homes. Financial assistance will be limited to past due rents or utilities from after March 1 to before Dec. 30.
