This year, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is celebrating a milestone. This July, the lighthouse is celebrating its 160th Anniversary.

Head to the Lighthouse for a milestone celebration and be one of the 160 visitors to help celebrate. Registration is now open online for you to join in on the fun. Tickets are required due to limited space and are on a first come, first serve basis, and tickets are offered during hourly timed-blocks.

The Lighthouse celebration will be held this Friday, July 10th. During the celebrations, visits can spend the day touring the lighthouse grounds, climb to the top of the iconic lighthouse, visit the lighthouse giftshop and explore the Keeper’s Workshop exhibit.

The swift and twisting Loxahatchee River is worthy of its status as Florida's first National Wild and Scenic River. Trapper Nelson's cabin is a point of interest near the trail's terminus in Jonathan Dickinson State Park near Stuart. Back in 2014, Fox changed the entire landscape of televised golf when they and the USGA came to terms on a 12-year, $1 billion deal for Fox to begin broadcasting the Men's and Women's U.S. Opens as well as other USGA events. Well, just five years into that 12-year deal, Fox has pulled the plug and ended its partnership with the USGA.

On Monday it was announced that Fox has ended their deal with the USGA and that NBC Sports and the Golf Channel would be picking up the remaining 7 years on the deal. That means that after a five-year break, NBC will once again be airing the U.S. Open.
