The Martin County Fair is the single largest fair and event held in Martin County every year. The fair draws over 70,000 people from around the county and Treasure Coast. The Fair is coming to town Friday, February 14th through Saturday, February 22nd.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their popular Jupiter Climb and Paddle event this week.

The event starts with a climb to the top of Jupiter’s iconic red Lighthouse and get your chance to see the incredible views of Jupiter and the waterways. The Lighthouse tower is 105 steps to the top and those who attend the event must be able to climb the tower’s steps.

Following the tour of the Lighthouse, the friends at the Jupiter Outdoor Center will guide the guests on paddleboards or kayaks through the waters of the Jupiter Inlet and nearby waterways for a tour and history from the water. During past events, those who attend often have seen manatees, sea turtles, birds and other marinelife along the journey.

Starting this weekend, some of the top Tennis Players from around the world will be in Delray Beach for the 2020 Delray Beach Open. The Tennis Open starts on Friday, February 14th and will be in South Florida until Sunday, February 23rd.

The 10-day tournament features past a present ATP World Tour and ATP Champions Tour players. The matches consist of competitions featuring some of the top-ranking tennis professionals in the sport for single and double elimination events at the Tennis Center in Delray Beach. Hog Hammock Trail is one of West Palm Beach's newest trails, it is composed of crushed concrete and has lots of intermittent boardwalks. The area is a combination of restored and natural wetland communities including cabbage palm hammocks, mesic pine flatwoods, forested wetlands and cypress domes. Restrooms and water is available in the parking lot. The trail is perfect for a leisurely hike.

After walking or jogging the Hammock Trail you may want to head over to the Cypress Boardwalk which is about one mile away. Cypress is a mile-long boardwalk extending through marsh and cypress swamp.
