The St. Catherine's Greek Festival is in its 44th year - on the corner of Southern Blvd. & Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.

The dates for this year’s festival are Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, February 15, 16, & 17.

The theme for this year's festival is "Greek Food & Wine Fest" as we focus on authentic Greek Cuisine with all your favorite Greek dishes: Mousaka, Pastichio, Lamb chops, Lamb Shank, Lemon Chicken, Spanakopita, Greek Salad, Dolmades, Gyro, Tsaganaki, Souvlaki, and much more! Begin 2019 is the year of the Boar, so start it off right this Saturday at the Norton Museum of Art.  

Norton is happy to host dragon and lion dances performed by the Lee Koon Hung Kung Fu Chinese Martial Arts Association. The 2019 Giro Di Zeppoli Bike Tour is happening this weekend, so strap on your helmet and get ready! 25 or 50 mile routes offer something for every rider level. The 25 mile route is for the beginner or those that wish to take it easy along the way. The 50 mile route is a bit more up-tempo and offers a quick paced ride for the athlete at heart.

Both courses cover the same ground as the tour takes riders along A1A with views of the Atlantic Ocean and mansions on Jupiter Island. From there the 25 mile riders turn around at Jupiter Island Town Hall and make their way back to the start. The 50 mile riders continue north along Gomez, Dixie Hwy, to Kiwanis Park in Stuart for the turnaround.

The River Center in Jupiter and the United States Coast Guard team up several times a year to provide a number of Boating Safety classes. The boating safety classes are aimed for young boaters in the area, but all are welcomed to attend to learn how to navigate the waterways.

The safety class are provided by the AustinBlu Foundation, a non-profit that is dedicated to raising awareness about safety on the water and to promote education programs.

The cost to attend the class is free, however a deposit is required to reserve your spot in the class. The deposit of $10 dollars will be refunded in full to all who attend the class.

The American German Club of the Palm Beaches is hosting a German Beerfest this upcoming Sunday, February 17th in Lake Worth. There will be live Music and lots to eat and drink. It’s a great event for lovers of both beers and brats.

The cost of admission is just $25. Included in that are bottomless German and domestic beers, domestic wine, soft drinks and a heaping plate of German and American fare. They’ve also got lawn games and plenty of fun for the whole family.
