Mall of America may have to move on over as the newest mall is coming to South Florida, American Dream Miami is intending for land near Miami Lakes, Florida bringing it to be the largest mall in the United States!

The largest mall in the U.S. is planning on being constructed on Miami's vacant land between the regions two busiest highways, Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 75. Triple Five, the company that owns Mall of America, is backing up this larger scale mall and theme park.

A mix of clouds and sunshine is in the weekends forecast with slight chances of rain showers. Winds are NE about 10-15 mph. More spring like conditions are gathering in South Florida with 80 degree air temperatures and water temps are heating up to 70 degrees.

OFFSHORE- For those that are willing to deal with the rough conditions offshore, sailfish are being pushed south within 100-250 feet of water and big kingfish are scattered around Palm Beach to Boynton Beach. It has been known for quite some time who would be leading the two squads when the Presidents Cup went to Korea this October. Jay Haas would be leading the American side, while Nick Price would head up the International team.

We now know though, who they will be bringing with them as their assistant captains.

Haas announced on Tuesday that he has named Davis Love III and Fred Couples as his assistant captains, while Price names Tony Johnstone and Mark McNulty his assistants.

If that tandem of Love III, Couples, and Haas sound familiar, that’s because those were the three captains two years ago at Muirfield Village. In 2013, Couples was the captain and Love and Haas were his assistants.
