The Royal Poinciana Plaza
The Royal Poinciana Plaza located at the heart of Palm Beach island is a 180,000 square foot outdoor lifestyle and shopping center with lush gardens and two courtyards. The newly renovated plaza is settled on the corner of Cocoanut Road and Royal Poinciana Way.
The Plaza was designed in 1957 by builder and architect John Volk, who was known for designing the homes for the Vanderbilt’s, Pulitzers, Fords, Du Ponts, and Dodges. The plaza is an example of his signature Palm Beach style. The Plaza underwent renovations that restored the plaza backs to its original style based on European architecture and lush courtyards. The restoration a few years ago brought The Royal back to how it was originally envisioned.
Today, The Royal is home to luxury shopping, dining and entertainment destination on the island. Some of the retails stores and restaurants located there include Hermes, Saint Laurent, The Honor Bar, Gucci, Theory, Sant Ambroeus, Palm Beach Grill and much more.
Throughout the week, the plaza hosts several events for everyone to enjoy.
