The Juno Beach Pier
The Juno Beach Pier is a popular fishing and hang out spot among the locals. The pier offers 990 feet of ocean views and great fishing.
Located at the beginning of the pier of the T-shaped pier is a full-service Pier House that features a full guest service team, gift store, snack and drink bar, bags of ice, and various fishing tackles and bait including fishing poles available for rent.
The Juno Beach Pier is managed by the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a research and rehabilitation center for injured and endangered sea turtles located in Juno Beach. The Pier is part of the Responsible Pier Initiative, a program designed to work with fishermen and fishing piers to promote a healthy environment for marine life and sea turtles. The program started in 2012 and over 1300 pounds of debris found in the ocean has been collected.
This time of year, the pier is starting to see a lot of pompano and snook. The bluefish are slowly moving up the coast but there are still a few around the pier. There are also a few spinner blacktip sharks around the pier area as well. Click here to view the fishing reports.
The Pier’s Hours:
March 1st through October 31st: Monday through Sunday: Sunrise to Sunset.
November 1st through February 28th: Sunday through Thursday: 6 am to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday: 6 am to midnight.
There is a small fee to go onto the pier. Spectators is $1 dollar per person, those Fishing is $4 dollars per person and kids fishing under 12 is $2 dollars.
The Pier is located in Juno Beach Park at 14775 US Highway 1 in Juno Beach.
