The Palm Beach International Airport is the perfect place to begin your vacation in Palm Beach County. Good news for cruise travelers, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has announced that cruising will begin out of the Port of Palm Beach beginning this summer. The first cruise back into the Port will begin sailing to Freeport, Bahamas beginning July 2nd.

The Grand Classica ship will be the first cruise back in the Port of Palm Beach. Normally the cruise line has two ships that leave out of Palm Beach County, The Grand Classica and the Grand Celebration. Both ships offer several dining venues, entertainment, lounges, bars, pools, a kid’s club, casinos, unlimited food, and drink packages.

Palm Beach International Airport has rebranded one of its lounges for travelers coming to and from Palm Beach County. The short-lived Primeclass Lounge has transformed into the Escape Lounge at the Palm Beach International Airport.

The Escape Lounge opened its door to travelers in the B Terminal, right after the TSA Security Checkpoint on December 9th. The new lounge will have the same luxuries as Primeclass Lounge plus more. Primeclass Lounge opened in January 2020 and closed its doors in early March. Now the former Primeclass Lounge has transformed into the Escape Lounge.

The Escape Lounge is open to all travelers for $40 dollars if booked in advance or $45 dollars if paid at the door. The fee gets you unlimited food and beverages, high speed…

Palm Beach International Airport has just been named as one of the “Top Ten Best Airports in the County” again by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine.  The travel magazine conducts a survey every year of some of the World’s Bests in traveling, leisure, vacation destinations, hotels, restaurants, and much more. This year, Palm Beach International Airport earned a spot on “The Best Airports in the US In 2020”.

The White Elephant Palm Beach will be opening on Nov. 4, 2020 on the site of the old Bradley Park Hotel on main street. The 32-room sister property of Nantucket's White Elephant will feature 19 suites, a u-shaped social pool and international inspired restaurant, Lola 41. 

Guests will be welcomed onto the property by a seven-foot white elephant statue by Santa Fe-based artist Fredrick Prescott. (A “sister” elephant statue, Trunket, is on the grounds of White Elephant in Nantucket. The statue is just one of 120 original pieces of modern and pop art curated by the owners and Elkus Manfredi.

Traveling to and from the West Coast to South Florida is about to get easier. Palm Beach International Airport announced recently that JetBlue has plans to add a direct flight from Palm Beach International Airport to Los Angeles, California.

JetBlue announced Thursday, that they will be offering non-stop daily flights between Palm Beach and Los Angeles starting in November. The first direct flight will be beginning on November 19th and will depart LAX at 8 am PST and arrive in West Palm Beach at 3:52 pm EST. Currently the average flight time from Los Angeles to South Florida is around five hours.

The East coast to West coast flights will depart PBI at 5 pm EST and is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles at 8:33 pm PST.
