More Palm Beach County residents are expected to spend the St. Patrick’s Day holiday at home. They are not willing to risk their “lucky charms” with excessive exposure in public.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic many Palm Beach County residents will stay at home than in past years. According to different estimations only about 9% of the green revelers plan to go to a bar this year compared to 38% in previous years.

A couple giant companies have come up with alternatives to honor the lucky Emerald Isle holiday.

Krispy Kreme is giving away free green glazed doughnuts for those who visit shops wearing green Tuesday and Wednesday. No purchase is necessary, and the treats are available in-store, for pick-up and the drive-thru while supplies last.

The Town of Jupiter is one of the very few dog friendly beaches remaining in the state. Jupiter adopted the policy and idea to allow dogs on the beach in 1989. Today, the dog friendly beach area has been expanded and reaches over 2.5 miles of access along the sandy shoreline.

The Jupiter Dog Beach stretches from Carlin Park Beach Marker #57 south to Marcinski Road Beach Marker #25. In the designated area, dogs are permitted to roam freely, but must be supervised at all times.

Parking is free along A1A or public parking lots at Carlin Park or Marcinski Road. The Jupiter Dog Beach is open from sunrise to sunset. The Towns asks that dogs should remain on a leash from the car to the beach and owners should be conscientious of their pets and others while…

Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is hosting a family filled activities beginning this Friday afternoon. Come bring the family and participate in the Downtown Collective Family Art in the Park event.

This Saturday, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting their reoccurring weekly Self-Guided Beach Cleanup. Now more than ever the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center needs your help to help keep our beaches clean from debris.

Beginning in early March through the end of October is Sea Turtle Nesting Season, where thousands of sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center monitors the beaches daily for new sea turtle nests.

This Saturday beginning at 8:30 am the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is having their Beach Cleanup. Volunteers can show up anytime between 8:30 am and 11 am and head to the back deck of the center and pick up your supplies at the Marine Debris Sorting Station. After supplies picked up,…
