October serves as an international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities. During this promotion, the objective is to increase awareness of the disease, encourage women to get their annual mammograms, and raise funds for research. This year is the 30th Anniversary Race for the Cure in South Florida! The Komen Race for the Cure is a wonderful, event-filled celebration full of inspiration and hope. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we cannot meet in person this year. Race for the Cure invites you to join in the mission to “save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our community and funding research breakthroughs for the cures” by participating in the virtual program on Race Day.
