Palm Beach County is one of the fishing capitals of the world for good reason. The Gulf Stream, a warm and swift Atlantic Ocean current that originates in the Gulf of Mexico, is closest to land near Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlet, providing abundant amounts of pelagic fish species as close as ¼ mile offshore.

If you don’t have a boat of your own, we have compiled this list of friendly local fishing charters for your convenience. The main target species in our area are mahi-mahi, kingfish, wahoo, tuna, sailfish, snook, snapper, grouper, and tripletail. Swordfish charters are also available for a pricier fee since a lot more specialty knowledge and work goes into a successful trip.

Inshore, the mullet run is still hot, and snook, jacks, tarpon, ladyfish, and redfish aren’t far behind…
