Palm Beach Gardens has a new Italian restaurant. It is called Prezzo and has a trattoria located in Boca Raton. Prezzo’s new location is 4520 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens is in the PGA Commons. The Prezzo eatery is known for its dramatic methods of preparation and innovative varieties of classic Italian dishes. October is National Pizza Month.  Pizza Today Magazine decided to dedicate a month to pizza and chose October. Many people in Palm Beach County must enjoy pizza by the number of pizza places in the county!

Modern pizza evolved from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy in the 18th or early 19th century. The word pizza was first documented in A.D. 997 in Gaeta and successively in different parts of Central and Southern Italy. Pizza was mainly eaten in Italy and brought to the United States by emigrants from there.

Palm Beach County is home to plenty of great places to stop by and grab a pizza.  Check out any of the eateries for some of the fantastic pizza and you are sure to be satisfied...

The Palm Beaches is a truly outstanding community to live in. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is a preferred spot for certainly some of the best coal fired tomato pies around! In addition to that, the Founder, Anthony Bruno and his team are donating 10,000 pizzas to the South Florida “Feeding Florida” food bank organization. 

It started Wednesday, April 1, 2020, and will continue for two weeks. With every pizza purchased, Anthony’s will donate another large pizza to South Florida “Feeding Florida” food bank families affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

Pizza is a one of the staples of “American consumed” food and local Tequesta restaurants have quite the reputation for creating delicious stone baked tomato pies.  These days pizzas have evolved and morphed into a healthy option for lunch or dinner.Back in 18th century Naples, busy workers needed a food they could eat on-the-go, in between shifts.  The pizza we enjoy came about an inexpensive, easy-to-eat meal for workers.
