Jonathan Dickinson State Park is located at 16450 S.E. Federal Highway, Hobe Sound within Martin County.  The state park offers many activities and opportunities for outdoor adventure! Visitors can enjoy paved and off-road biking, equestrian, and hiking trails. The Jupiter Waterway Trail is a series of trails that connect the Loxahatchee River, Intracoastal Waterway and Jupiter Inlet. This coming Saturday, deep in the beautiful, Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound, will be an evening event of stargazing, delicious food, live music and friends. Held by the “Friends of Jonathan Dickinson State Park is “An Evening Under The Stars.” 

Park members and non-park members are invited to join in on this incredible evening. Tucked back in the darkest part of the park will be a party. The party will offer tasty BBQ, refreshing drinks, live music and games BUT the star of the show will be the high powered and ultra high tech telescopes. The Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches will provide these super telescopes. 

The purpose of hosting the party in the darkest part of the park is to be the furthest away from any light pollution…

Calling all art enthusiats,The City of Murals Art Tours are a must try! Tour through the city of Hobe Sound charming and quiet streets. The city is known for its atisinal and quaint lifestyle. Since 2009 the town has been under a “paint the town initiative” which is a project to paint the town with beautiful murals upon the buildings. Lead by professional artist, Nadia Utto, this project has given over 40 artists and 100 residents and visitors the chance to express their personalities through art. 

The Hobe Sound Art Tours are two hour-long tours and are led by a professional artist giving you all of the inside scoop on local art and history. While on the tour there are fun treasure hunts and educational games to keep the tour fresh and interesting.…

The Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful coastal refuge in Hobe Sound, Florida. Established September 30, 1969, the refuge has been a sanctuary to an abundance of wildlife from birds to deer, to marine life like turtles and dolphins for quite some time. 

Spanning a total of 1000 acres, the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge is divided by the Indian River Lagoon. It divides the refuge into a 735-acre piece of land and a 300-acre piece of land. The 735-acre parcel is on the Jupiter Island side and it is a haven for sea turtles. It creates a gentle estuary away from the ocean where turtles can nest and reproduce.
