The new energy efficient movement is leaning toward sustainability. Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. By using renewable, recyclable materials generations in the future will not be impacted as greatly by development today.

There has been an increasing trend in Palm Beach County home building.  Both builders and consumers are more concerned about energy efficiency, green homes and leaving a smaller carbon footprint on the planet.  Energy efficient appliances are now standard in new construction and in remodeling.
