Boca Raton’s beloved art celebration, Festival of the Arts Boca, is right around the corner and its kickoff party is happening this Thursday. The Festival of the Arts Boca offers its guests and fellow art enthusiasts 11 days of film screenings, jazz, symphonic concerts, lectures and readings. 

The Thursday night kickoff will feature a renowned writer, Jennifer Egan. Egan specializes in both fiction and non-fiction literary works. She is most known for her episodic, rock-and-roll-set, Pulitzer-winning 2010 novel “A Visit From the Goon Squad,” as well as her award-winning reporting for the New York Times.
