Southeast Florida residents have an opportunity to donate and help Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  It is an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. It is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease, screening, education, and support.

Screening: Donate to their National Mammography and Patient Navigation programs.  They can then provide free mammograms and other necessary screenings while removing barriers in the cancer care system.

October is a very special month in Palm Beach County, many of us focus on one thing, Halloween. But there is bigger significance this month than candy and costumes - Breast Cancer Awareness.  As the month nears the end in frightfully fun way possible with costumes, candy and decorations galore, let's not forget about Breast Cancer Awareness. 

Recognize the signficiance of the month of October by placing a pink pumpkin on your porch or doorstep to raise awareness.  it just may give someone the push they need to schedule a mammogram. Possibly saving their life!

As soon as October hits Palm Beach County, many of us focus on one thing and one thing only: Halloween. And while the month ends in the most frightfully fun way possible with costumes, candy and decorations galore, let's not forget that October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Placing a pink pumpkin on your porch or doorstep may also give someone the push they need to schedule a mammogram.

This year is the 30th Anniversary Race for the Cure in South Florida! The Komen Race for the Cure is a wonderful, event-filled celebration full of inspiration and hope. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we cannot meet in person this year. Race for the Cure invites you to join in the mission to “save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our community and funding research breakthroughs for the cures” by participating in the virtual program on Race Day.

It will be October in a few days and fall is slowly creeping into the Jupiter area.  Which means several things; the weather becomes idyllic, the holidays are right around the corner, and October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, second only to skin cancer. According to the 2019 U.S. Breast Cancer Statistics issued by Breastcancer.org an estimated 268,600 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 62,930 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. About 2,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2019.
