The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts a variety of calendar events daily and one of their most popular events is the Guided Turtle Walks. The Guided Turtle Walk is a unique program that allows visitors to learn and observe the nesting and egg laying process of Loggerhead Sea Turtles. 

The walks require approval from the state and during the event an experienced member of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center staff search the beach for sea turtle while visitors learn about the process at the center. Once the talks are complete and the sea turtles are spotted on the beach, guests are guided down to the beach to witness the process.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a unique program that allows the public to adopt a sea turtle from their sea turtle rehabilitation and research center. The Adaptation Program helps to benefit the continued care for sick and injured sea turtles. The program helps provide food, medications, hospital care, and tank maintenance required for their care while at the center. 

The beaches in our area are popular every March through October during the Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Along the 9.5 miles of sand, thousands of sea turtles lay their eggs in the sand making Juno Beach one of the most populated nesting areas in the world. First of all: people unfamiliar with the area will ask, “Is there good surfing in West Palm Beach?” not understanding that West Palm Beach doesn't really have a beach. Surfing on Palm Beach island is a different story, but the only kind of West Palm Beach surfing is wakeboarding at Shark Wake Park. Our Palm Beach County slice of paradise is not only renowned for its stunning beaches and dreamt-about lifestyle, but also usually has the best surfing in all of South Florida (except for that late September 2022 blast from Hurricane Ian that pretty much bypassed the Palm Beaches completely and blew up in South Beach). The Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts a variety of events every day.  The sea turtle research and rehabilitation center added Rescue to Release Virtual Theater Show every day that has become a popular event. 

The event is a virtual realty experience that allows visitors to follow a sea turtles journey from rescue to release back into the ocean. The narrated event uses virtual reality headsets that takes visitors through real action scenes of a sea turtle being rescued, through the hospital and rehabilitation process, and being released back into the ocean. 

The event costs $5 dollars per person and the event is recommended those 8 years old and up.

Saturday mornings, join others and help keep our beautiful beaches clean. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts a Self-Guided Beach Clean Up on Saturday mornings. 

No registration or payment is required to participate in the event. Simply just show up to the beach with gloves and a bucket and help keep our beaches clear from trash and debris. The Beach Clean Up happens at the beach near the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The Self-Guided Beach Clean Up has become such a popular event that the Loggerhead Marinelife Center has added it to their events calendar once a week. Helping to take part in keeping our beaches clean helps protect our beautiful blue ocean, intracoastal, and help to protect our marinelife.

The Juno Beach Fishing pier is a popular destination in northern Palm Beach County for locals and visitors. 

The fishing pier is a 990-foot-long T-shaped pier that offers great saltwater fishing. The Pier is home to a full-service Pier House that features a friendly Guest Service Team, bags of ice, snacks, drinks, various fishing gear, tackle, fishing poles available for rentals, and much more.

The Fishing Pier is managed by the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. Jupiter is home to one of the very few remaining dog friendly beaches in the State of Florida and the only dog friendly beach in Palm Beach County. In 1989, the Town of Jupiter adapted a policy to allow dogs to roam freely in a 2.5 mile stretch of the beach. 

The dog friendly beach stretched from beach marker #59 at Carlin Park south to beach marker #25 at Marcinski Road. In this designated area, dogs are allowed to roam freely but must be always supervised.

Dogs are allowed on the beach from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week. The Town of Jupiter has adopted a set of rules that they would like all pet owners to follow. The Friends of Jupiter provides free waste bags at every cross over along the designated dog friendly stretch.

Waterfront Properties Top Agent Angela Voland is hosting an event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Palm Beach. Angela has been nominated for the Visionary of the Year award and is hosting a Moonrise Beach Yoga Event to raise money for the cause. Angela is competing against nine other contestants to raise money in our area.

The Moonrise Beach Yoga Party is taking place Wednesday, May 3rd at the Marcinski Beach Marker #25 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Tickets are available online and cost $25 dollars per person. Book your spot early and support a great cause.
