Jupiter Florida
One of the most scenic parks and historical gems of Jupiter, Florida to the outdoor enthusiast is Riverbend Park. Spending the day at this picturesque park from land or by water, you will be able to visualize the widespread splendor of nature and wildlife and experience a bit of the “living history.”

This 1200 acre estate is just draped with cypress, oak, pine and palms trees making a safe place for over 200 different bird species. Plenty of lively activities are encouraged to take place at Riverbend Park such as self-guide biking, equestrian trails (BYOH) or hiking trails of over 15 miles; the park includes picnic tables with grills for resting places, as well as 5 ½ miles of paddling kayaks or canoes which can be rented at Canoe Outfitters of Florida onsite. Along your adventurous journey either by land or water, you may come in contact with graceful deer, bobcats, raccoons, river otters, turtles and many other animals, some say "it’s almost like canoeing or biking in a zoo!"

Riverbend Park is a place of “living history” as the park reenacts battles that were taken place in the past and the performances happen a few times per year. Onsite vintage sawmills are a must see when visiting too. Native Americans lived and hunted on the land during the Archaic Period to the time of the Seminole Indians of the 1800s. The park has a marker at the entrance to remember the two major battles that this site was fought on. After the Seminole wars, some of the swamps were sapped and orange groves were planted by settlers. From over 100 years ago, you can still see the orange trees standing at Riverbend Park.

Known as “The Jewel of Palm Beach County Parks” Riverbend Park is located on 9060 Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL 33478
