November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. Each year, the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida hosts "Let's Talk About It" events to educate communities about epilepsy and break stigmas associated with it. Four hundred thousand people in Florida and 1 in 26 people in the U.S. have epilepsy. One in 10 people will experience seizures in their life. The goal for these events is to communicate and educate people and improve understanding about this issue.

On Saturday, November 18th, Twisted Trunk Brewery in Palm Beach Gardens will host a "Let's Talk About It" fundraiser from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A $20 ticket will get you a gift pint full of beer, complimentary appetizers, and special pricing on beer through out the evening. Twisted Trunk is featuring a number of purple-colored craft beers, discounted prices, and an auction until 8 p.m. The bewery will remain open until 11 p.m. so stick around afterward to meet new people and share insights on what was discussed. Try some of the 13 custom beers on tap like the Rasta Stout, Palm Beach Pilz, or the Gardens Gold.
