Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County is an oasis of gorgeous plants, vibrant and exotic flowers and interesting wildlife. Located in the heart of West Palm Beach, this stunning botanical garden is one of the gems south Florida has to offers its residents and guests. There are over 18 unique gardens here at Mounts Botanical Gardens all with their own theme and habitat. Some of the gardens you will see when you visit Mounts include the butterfly garden, teeming with butterflies and brimming with beautiful flowers. The orchid garden is another must see with its incredible collection of both common and rare orchids. 

Mounts has a history dating back to the 50’s when it was the “first Palm Beach Cooperative Extension building erected on Military Trail and officially named to honor Marvin U. “Red” Mounts.” It was the very first original 3-½ acres used to pasture 4-H horses. The mission of Mounts Botanical Garden is to inspire others to create gardens and refine gardening unique to the subtropics. Mounts “exhibits and evaluates materials environmentally suitable for home, commercial and public landscapes while providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn the art, science and joy of gardening.” 

February Class- Orchids!  

This plant sale offers a great opportunity to view beautiful orchid displays with a fun and informative lecture on topics such as Basic Orchid Care and the opportunity to acquire the best orchid and shade loving plants. Discover the joy of herbs with special lectures, and demonstrations on cooking with herbs.
